What’s happening?
When executing planning optimization, the planned batch orders created from demand forecasts use valid formulas and routings regardless of the settings for "Use specific BOM" and "Use specific routing."
Reason:
The settings for the used coverage group regarding "Use specified BOM or formula version" and "Use specified routing version" were found to be set to "No," which caused the system to revert to valid formulas and routings.
Resolution:
To resolve this, change the settings for the related coverage group to "Yes" for both "Use specified BOM or formula version" and "Use specified routing version." After making these changes, reattempt the planning optimization and verify if the planned batch orders now utilize the specified formulas and routings as intended.
