What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing read-only access to the Planned Order (ReqPlannedOrderEntity) data entity in the data management system, preventing them from importing data.
Reason:
The Planned Orders entity (ReqPlannedOrderEntity) is designed to be read-only, which means that users can only read the data and cannot perform updates. This design is intentional and is not currently subject to change, as making the entity read/write capable is part of a deliverable (434162 - Entity - Planned orders) that is not being considered for implementation at this time.
Resolution:
- Users encountering the error "The following data sources cannot be published: PlannedOrder (read-only)" should be informed that the entity is read-only by design.
- For those requesting the feature to allow data imports, it is recommended to log their request on the Ideas portal, as there is already an existing idea related to this feature.
- Users should be advised to check for updates regarding the deliverable mentioned, but currently, no further action can be taken to change the read-only status of the entity.
