What’s happening?
- Customers are unable to post a packing slip for an order containing a large number of lines, resulting in the system hanging indefinitely.
- Customers encounter an error stating "Field 'Sales order' must be filled in" when trying to schedule a post packing slip batch after selecting the Late selection.
- This is with posting the packing slip was identified as being related to the specific sales order, which contained a significant number of lines (approximately 600).
- The error regarding the sales order during the scheduling of the post packing slip batch may be due to a design issue in the production environment, as it does not occur in lower environments.
- For the packing slip posting issue, the customer confirmed that disconnecting the sales order/purchase order allowed them to successfully post the packing slip.
- For the scheduling issue, the customer was advised to share the trace log and session information related to the error. Additionally, changes in the batch job selections were made, which resolved the issue. If the problem persists, further investigation may be required to determine if it is a standard application error or a design-related issue.
