What’s happening?
Customers are unable to modify the transaction currency of projects, which defaults to USD, despite previous functionality allowing the currency to match the project contract.
Reason:
This arises due to a mismatch between the currency of the project owning company and the contracting unit. This validation error occurs when creating or updating a project, contract, or other sales entities, indicating that the project owning company currency does not match the contracting unit currency.
Resolution:
To resolve the currency validation error, ensure that the customer and the contract are set to the same currency before marking the quote as won.
