What’s happening?
The view in Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) does not sort alphabetically, despite the option being available.
Reason:
The WBS form in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is designed to maintain a hierarchy format by sorting based on WBS-ID rather than alphabetically. This behavior is by design and not a bug.
Resolution:
For the WBS sorting issue, it is confirmed that the sorting is by design, and users should be aware that the system will not sort alphabetically.
