What’s happening?
The mobile application for expense management is not allowing users to submit meal exclusions when the per diem meal selection is changed, while this functionality works correctly on the desktop version.


Reason:
This appears to be related to a timestamp conflict in the mobile application. When the timestamp on the mobile is adjusted even by one minute, the change seems to work, indicating that the mobile application may not be handling timestamps correctly.
 

Resolution:
Since Expense report line where Per diem category is being setup:

  • Change the default time on the “Per diem TO date” line from 12:00 AM to 12:01 AM. This adjustment has been tested and did not produce an error.
  • Alternatively, consider changing the “Per diem TO date” time to the end of the day (i.e., 11:59 PM) as a potential fix.
