What’s happening?
After upgrading from Project Service Automation to Project Operations, the date format displayed in the Project Task grid can be confusing for global users. For example, the date 10/12/2024 can be interpreted as either October 12, 2024, or December 10, 2024, depending on the user's regional settings.
Reason:
The PSA task grid uses a different date format by default than the task grid that is used in Project Operations.
Resolution:
See System Settings Formats tab - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn for information on changing the the default format for date fields.
Note: This only changes the default format for new users. Existing users need to change this setting within their Personal Options: Set personal options - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn
