What’s happening?
An error message stating "Country Code must be correct ISO value" when attempting to send a Purchase Order for approval. This issue is often related to missing or incorrect ISO codes in the "Countries/Regions" page of the application.

Reason:
The underlying cause of this may be due to missing ISO codes in the "Countries/Regions" table, which can occur if the data has been manually removed or corrupted, potentially due to a malfunctioning third-party extension.

Resolution:

  1. Verify the "Countries/Regions" page to check if the ISO values are populated. If they are blank, this may be the source of the error.
  2. If the ISO codes are missing, you can add the necessary codes back into the table using the "Edit List" action.
  3. To find the correct ISO codes, utilize the Online Browsing Platform (OBP) to search for the required country codes.
  4. If the issue persists after adding the codes, consider testing the application in a Sandbox environment without any third-party extensions to isolate the problem.
  5. If the error continues, it may be necessary to uninstall the third-party extension and re-enter the country codes to confirm if the error still appears.
  6. If data loss is suspected, consider performing an environment restoration, which can only go back 28 days, to recover lost data. Ensure to review the considerations and limitations of this process before proceeding.
