What’s happening?
Customers are seeking assistance in creating additional sandbox environments in Dynamics 365 Business Central after redeeming their sandbox benefits or inquiring about the associated costs for additional sandboxes.


Reason:
To create additional sandbox environments, customers must purchase an additional production environment. Each additional production environment includes three sandbox environments and 4 GB of tenant-wide database capacity. The existing licenses may limit the number of environments available.


Resolution:
For Creating a Fourth Sandbox:

  1. To create a fourth sandbox environment, purchase an additional production environment. This will provide three additional sandbox environments.
  2. Ensure that the benefits associated with the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership have been redeemed properly.
For Creating a New Business Central Sandbox After Redeeming Benefits:
  1. Sign in to the Partner portal and navigate to the Benefits workspace.
  2. Look for the "Dynamics 365 Partner Sandbox - Business Central" benefit.
  3. Follow the instructions to create a new sandbox environment.
  4. If the option to create a new sandbox is not visible, verify that the benefits have been properly redeemed and check for any restrictions or prerequisites that need to be fulfilled, such as specific roles or permissions.
