What’s happening?
The customer encountered an error message stating, "There is no Field within the filter," when attempting to add a new field in the Integration Table Mapping for the MDM_ record.
Reason:
This arises when the Integration Table Mappings are used for Dataverse, and the specific field being added is either not available or marked as obsolete in the current setup.
Resolution:
- To add custom fields, navigate to the Synchronization Tables.
- Select the Fields option.
- Use the "Update Fields" option on the Synchronization Fields page to add the desired field.
- If the field is marked as obsolete, it cannot be added until it is updated in the next release. In this case, the customer can either wait for the release or:
- Subscribe to an event to explicitly add the obsolete field.
- Publish an extension that contains the event subscriber to regenerate the mappings and include the obsolete field.
