Applies to Product – Dynamics 365 Business Central
What’s happening?
Experiencing failures when attempting to synchronize records between Dynamics Sales and Business Central after accidentally deleting records in Dynamics Sales. The synchronization fails without specific error messages, and attempts to start the sync with different filters have not been successful.
Reason:
This arises after the accidental deletion of records in Dynamics Sales, which leads to conflicts during the synchronization process. Specifically, the error indicates that no unique uncoupled matching entity was found, and existing records in Dataverse may be causing conflicts.
Resolution:
- Uncoupling Records: Navigate to the Integration Table Mappings page in Business Central. Select the relevant integration table mapping for products and choose the "Uncoupling" option to remove the coupling for the selected integration table mapping.
- Testing Configuration: It is recommended to first test the configuration on a clean copy of the Production environment to a Sandbox. Connect it to a copy of the same CRM environment to ensure that changes can be tested without affecting the live Production environment.
- Redeploy Integration Solution:
- Go to the Dataverse Connection Setup page and disable the connection.
- Use the action "Redeploy Integration Solution."
- Ensure the solution version is the same as the Business Central version.
- Check for Conflicts: If the error persists, check for existing records in Dataverse that may conflict with the synchronization. The specified product ID may conflict with an existing record, and a different product ID should be specified.
- Further Assistance: If additional issues arise or if there are questions about alternative approaches, it is advisable to open a separate support request ticket for further verification and assistance.
- Documentation Reference: For more details, refer to the official documentation on "Coupling and Synchronizing - Business Central" and "Mapping the tables and fields to synchronize - Business Central."
