What’s happening?
After updating the sandbox environment to a new version, the client encountered an error message when attempting to export an EFT file. The error was related to the unavailability of codeunit 20108, which is necessary for AMC code.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that codeunit 20108, required for the AMC functionality, is not available in the updated version of the sandbox (v25).
Resolution:
- Confirm that the sandbox environment is running on the correct version (25.2 or 25.3).
- If the error persists, request the client to provide the exact error message or code displayed during the export attempt.
- Verify if the client has been able to generate the EFT file in the past in this company.
- Check if the payment records were listed in the Generate EFT Files page initially or if they were always missing.
- Suggest the client to void, export, and regenerate the EFT file process again, ensuring there are no errors during this process.
- As a last resort, advise the client to try these steps in a new batch by voiding, deleting the payment records from the current batch, creating a new batch with a unique name, and then building out the payment records there.
