What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing error messages when attempting to use Business Central add-ins and VS Code extensions, specifically when trying to change requested delivery dates and download BC symbols and models.


Reason:
The underlying causes for the errors include:
- Issues with the add-in installation, which may require reinstallation.
- Incorrect parameter values in configuration files such as app.json or launch.json, leading to errors during the download of symbols.


Resolution:
For the add-in error, this was resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the add-in.
For the VS Code extension error, it is recommended to:

  • Check the parameter values in the app.json and launch.json files to ensure they are correct.
  • Use the design options in the sandbox to generate the app.json and launch.json files, then update the values in these files accordingly.
  • If issues persist, consider seeking assistance from community forums for further troubleshooting.
