What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing slow performance on their sites, leading to difficulties in processing and loading content. Multiple users have reported similar slow experiences.
Reason:
The underlying cause of the slow performance is often related to insufficient capacity allocated to the site, particularly in environments that have not been converted from trial to production. Additionally, there may be an increase in web requests or bulk updates occurring during the time of the performance issues.
Resolution:
- Verify if the site has been converted from trial to production. This can be checked in the portal administration page for the site.
- Ensure that adequate capacity is allocated to the site. Admins can confirm this by navigating to the Power Platform Admin Center and checking the capacity settings.
- If the performance issue is specific to a particular page, review the page configuration and any plugins that may be affecting performance.
- Run a Site Checker on the website to identify and address any configuration issues.
- Restart the portal to see if it resolves the performance issue.
- If the performance issues are related to updated records not being visible, clear the server-side cache as per the guidelines provided in the documentation.
- Monitor the site after making these adjustments to confirm if the performance has improved.
