What’s happening?
Assistance is needed in removing users from the forecasting system. Although security roles that grant access to the forecast have been removed, the users remain visible in the system.
Reason:
This is caused by users inheriting privileges from team memberships. Users may still appear in the forecasting system due to their association with teams that have not had their roles adjusted.
Resolution:
- Deactivate the forecasts that are no longer required in the organization. This can be done by viewing the list of deactivated forecasts under the Inactive tab. Note that once a forecast is deactivated, it cannot be activated again.
- If it is necessary to delete a forecast, follow these steps:
- Open the Forecast configuration.
- Select the More options icon corresponding to the forecast that you want to delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Verify the security roles assigned directly to the user and those assigned indirectly via team memberships. Users will inherit privileges from teams they are part of.
- For further assistance, consider consulting the API to retrieve all security roles of a user.
