What’s happening?
Customer is experiencing issues with their Master Data Management (MDM) system where data is not syncing to one of the companies after an upgrade. While data successfully synced from the Master company to one company, it failed to sync to another company.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this appears to be related to a job queue for the MDM Customer that was running without an ending date, which may have contributed to synchronization problems. Additionally, the new vendor was not created during the coupling process, despite the synchronization settings being correctly configured.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Restart the job queues to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Uncouple and then couple the vendors again, ensuring that the settings for synchronization and creation are checked.
- Run a full synchronization for the vendor table to resynchronize all records unconditionally.
- If automatic synchronization is not functioning as expected, consider manually running the synchronization.
- Ensure that any changes to the vendor table schema in the Master company are reflected in destination company by using the "Update Fields" action to synchronize any new fields.
- Check for any customizations or extensions in the Master company that may affect the vendor table and temporarily disable them if necessary.
