What’s happening?
The customer is unable to create alerts to be sent to email regarding log space percentage in the Power Platform Admin Center, despite having the necessary administrative roles.

Reason:
The customer may not be aware that they do not need to fill in any email address for receiving alerts; they just need to ensure they are assigned the required roles.

Resolution:
To create a capacity alert in the Power Platform admin center, please follow these steps:
1. Sign in to the Power Platform admin center.
2. In the navigation pane, select Billing > Licenses.
3. On the Summary page, select the Dataverse tab and then select Manage Capacity.
4. In the Manage Capacity pane, view the currently allocated and consumed capacity for the environment.
5. Allocate capacity by entering the desired value in the Database, File, and Log fields.
6. Opt in to receive daily email alerts sent to tenant and environment admins when the consumed capacity (Database, Log, or File) reaches a set percentage of the allocated capacity.
7. Select Save to apply the changes.
Note: Notifications for capacity approaching storage limits are triggered when any of the three storage capacities (database, file, or log) have less than 15% of space available. For more detailed information, refer to Dataverse capacity-based storage details - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.
