Applies to Product - Power Platform Administration

What’s happening?
Customers may receive notifications that their Developer environment will be disabled due to inactivity.

Reason:
Developer environments are subject to inactivity-based disablement and potential deletion if there is no user activity, such as launching an app or executing a flow.

Resolution:
If the environment has been disabled, it can be re-enabled in the Power Platform admin center. If it has been deleted, recovery options are also available there.
To prevent the disabling of the Developer environment, ensure regular user activity within the environment.
This can be achieved by:

  1. Regularly using the resources hosted in the environment.
  2. Engaging with the environment and its features to demonstrate ongoing activity.
  3. For more detailed information on maintaining activity levels, refer to the documentation on Automatic deletion of Power Platform environments - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.
