What’s happening?
BOM journal is not being created automatically for configured kit items during statement posting, resulting in the inability to post statements for the affected stores.
 

Reason:
This arises due to a rounding problem where the quantity per kit of an item is set to a fractional value, but the unit of measure (UOM) has a decimal precision of 0. This causes the fractional quantity to be rounded down to 0, leading to problems in the statement calculation.
 

Resolution:

  1. Adjust the decimal precision of the UOM from 0 to 2 decimal places for the affected items.
  2. Recalculate the statement after making the adjustment.
  3. Conduct tests in both UAT and Production environments to ensure the issue is resolved and monitor for any further problems.
If the issue persists after these steps, further investigation may be required, including checking the environment ID and reviewing any error messages encountered during the process.
