What’s happening?
Customers are encountering errors during the activation of new devices. The specific error messages include:
- "Pre-Activation validation completed for device {NAME} and staff {ID}. Validation: Failed, Messages: 'Invalid address setup - multiple countries / regions have blank ISO codes. Please contact your administrator to fix it on HQ Address setup page, and retry later.'"
 
Reason:
The underlying causes for the activation issues include:
- Missing ISO codes for multiple countries or regions in the address setup, leading to validation failures.

 
Resolution:
To resolve the activation issues, the following steps should be taken:
1. For the address setup issue:
- Access the HQ Address setup page.
- Identify and fill in the missing ISO codes for the countries or regions that are blank.
- Execute sync jobs to push the changes to the channel database
- Retry the device activation after ensuring all necessary ISO codes are provided
