What’s happening?
Need to find a way to create a second vendor account for all vendors with a new prefix using data management.
 

Reason:
The VendorAccountNumber is read-only, which prevents the import of new vendors. Attempts to modify vendor data and re-import using the Vendor V2 entity result in errors.
 

Resolution:

  • The request to create a second vendor account by modifying existing vendor data and importing it back using the Vendor V2 entity is not possible, as it has been reproduced in the environment and confirmed to fail.
  • Users can download all vendor data to an Excel file as a backup, but modifying and attempting to re-import this data with a new prefix will not succeed due to the read-only nature of the VendorAccountNumber.
