What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing errors stating "Failed to upload X media items" when attempting to upload images to the CMS Library, regardless of the quantity of images uploaded. This appears to be user-specific, as uploads succeed only if another user uploads images first.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is related to user permissions. Although the permissions for the affected users match those of other team members, the upload process fails for them in the UAT environment.
Resolution:
- Compare the group memberships of the affected user with another user who does not experience this.
- Confirm that the affected user has been added to the appropriate roles, such as the Web Producer role at the UAT site.
