Google Maps API Key and Bing Maps Search Functionality Issues

What’s happening?

1. Customers are inquiring about the possibility of using Google Maps API keys instead of Bing Maps for the store locator functionality in their online store.

Reason:

1. The use of Google Maps API for the store locator is not supported out of the box in Dynamics 365. Customization may be required to embed the Google Maps API within the online store’s front-end code.

1. It is recommended to transition to Azure Maps as Microsoft will retire Bing Maps for Enterprise by 2028. Documentation for Azure Maps can be found in the Azure portal
