What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing errors when attempting to process debit cards at the point of sale (POS). The error messages include "The card type is not an accepted form of payment".
Reason:
This are primarily due to the system not finding the configured card bin range.
Resolution:
- Adjust the card bin range configuration in the system. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/commerce/dev-itpro/wallets
- Run a full sync (1070 full sync) to ensure that the data has properly synced to the channel database.
- Ensure that the default authorization type is set correctly and review the configuration of each payment method.
