What’s happening?
The Copilot answers are references to desktop applications, specifically PowerPoint, instead of web applications. Users want the citation links to open in the browser rather than a desktop application.
Reason:
This behaviour appears to be a design limitation, as there is currently no setting to force the citation links to open in the browser.
Resolution:
- It is recommended to submit a feature request through the Copilot Ideas portal to request the ability to change the default behavior of citation links to open in the browser.
