What’s happening?
After updating to a custom domain, the Copilot bot continues to show results linked to the old domain.
 

Reason:
This arises because when the bot is deleted, the old bot topics are not considered as deleted. This results in the new bot not being recognized as a separate entity, leading to the absence of topics in the new bot.
 

Resolution:

  1. Delete the affected bot by unchecking the "create Copilot Bot" checkbox and wait for it to be fully deleted.
  2. After deletion, check the box again to create a new bot.
  3. Ensure that the new bot is created after the deployment of updates related to the custom domain.
  4. If the issue persists after following these steps, further investigation may be required, and the internal team should be contacted for additional support.
