What’s happening?
Customers have questions on the prioritization of knowledge sources in Copilot Studio, when the AI general knowledge is enabled and there are knowledge sources configured for the agent.

Reason:
This arise from the lack of clarity on how to set up knowledge sources and the limitations of the system regarding the prioritization of general knowledge versus added knowledge sources.

Resolution:
An agent that has AI general knowledge enabled and knowledge sources configured will leverage both sources to provide an answer. If there are questions for which the agent is not able to find a response in the configured knowledge sources, then it will resort to generative AI to answer that question.
If the answers should be based only on the specified knowledge sources, then AI general knowledge should be disabled for that agent.
