What’s happening?
The location sharing feature in the Field Service application is not functioning as expected. The location is not visible on the schedule board, and the location tracking table remains empty.
Reason:
This arises when the tracking times are not set correctly, leading to the system not sending latitude and longitude data to the server during valid tracking times.
Resolution:
- Apply applicable time filters are enabled Geolocation settings in Field Service. For example, for 24 hour tracking, set from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm.
- Ensure that location sharing is enabled on the mobile devices used by field service agents.
