What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties integrating trial Finance and Operations (F&O) with the Power Platform, specifically being unable to find F&O in the Lifecycle Services (LCS) and facing challenges in establishing the integration.
 

Reason:
This is related to the trial environment. Power Platform integration is not supported in trial environments, which is a limitation confirmed by internal team experts.
 

Resolution:

  1. Ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
  2. At least 1 GB of Microsoft Power Platform database storage capacity is available.
  3. Validate the governance policy of your tenant in the Power Platform admin center.
  4. The user performing the setup must have the necessary roles and licenses.
  5. To connect Finance and Operations apps with a new Microsoft Dataverse instance, follow these steps:
  6. Select "Setup" on the Power Platform.
  7. Set the "Use a different Power Platform environment" option.
  8. Confirm that you want to proceed.
  9. Wait for provisioning to be completed.
