What’s happening?
The application hangs and becomes unresponsive when attempting to open calculation models or run calculation profiles in Microsoft Sustainability Manager. This issue occurs consistently and affects all users in the affected environment.
Reason:
This may be related to a configuration problem during the migration of calculation models and profiles from one environment to another. Specifically, the relationship data may not have been copied over correctly.
Resolution:
- Ensure that when copying calculation models and profiles, the relationship data is also copied. This can be done in the Configuration Migration Tool by using the "Show the relationships for the selected entity" checkbox and adding those relationships.
- Verify if the calculation profile, emission calculation, and the relationship between them have been migrated correctly.
- If the issue persists, check the affected environment for any updates or changes that may have been made prior to the issue occurring.
- Clear the browser cache and attempt to log in again to see if the issue resolves.
- If the problem continues, consider upgrading the environment to the latest version of Microsoft Sustainability Manager, as older versions may have unresolved issues.
