What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing an implicit connection error in PowerApps integrated with SharePoint. This issue is causing significant disruptions, as changes made to the app, including updates to connections and code modifications, are not reflecting in the live version. Users are unable to access the updated features of the app due to this error.

Reason:
The underlying cause of this is suspected to be an implicit connection error that prevents changes from syncing properly. This has been reinforced by previous occurrences of similar issues.

Resolution:

  • Ensure that the latest authoring version of PowerApps is being used.
  • Test the application on different browsers to rule out browser-specific issues.
  • Clear the cache and browser history to eliminate any stored data that may be causing conflicts.
  • Review network traces to identify any invoke status issues that may be affecting the app's performance.
  • If the issue persists, consider using a combo box control by removing and re-adding it to reset its functionality, ensuring it operates as intended without altering its core functionality.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, further investigation may be required, and it is recommended to schedule a call with the technical team for a more in-depth analysis.
