What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties in retrieving the last execution history of PowerApps applications.

Reason:
This may arise due to the environment name containing non-alphabetic characters, such as Japanese characters, which can prevent the environment filter from functioning correctly. Additionally, there may be delays in the reflection of data in the analytics features.

Resolution:

  1. Access the Microsoft Purview portal using the following URL: Microsoft Purview Portal.
  2. In the portal, navigate to the [Audit] section and display the [Search] screen. If the [Audit] option is not visible on the left side, select it from the list under [Solutions].
  3. If the audit feature is not enabled, click on the button to start recording user and administrator activities. Note that enabling this feature may take up to 60 minutes.
  4. After enabling the search conditions, select "Power Apps application activity" from the dropdown under [Date and Time Range] and choose "App Launch" to execute the search.
  5. After executing the search, a queue will be added at the bottom of the audit page, collecting logs according to the search conditions. This may take some time.
  6. The status of the queue will not update in real-time, so periodically click the [Refresh] button at the top of the queue.
  7. Once the status is complete, click on the relevant [Search Field] to view the details of the search results.
  8. From the search results list, you can check the user information in the "User" column and the application ID in the "Item" column for the specified period.
For further details on the activities that can be audited, refer to the following documentation: Power Apps Activity Log - Audited Events.
