What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing a "Duplicate Origin Correlation ID" error while importing data using the Microsoft Sustainability Application. They have confirmed that there are no duplicate records with the same Origin Correlation ID or any records lacking an OCID.

Reason:
The error occurs due to throttling when the system attempts to re-ingest all records. For those that have already been ingested, it throws a duplicate OCID error, resulting in different error counts for different connection refreshes. This issue does not affect functionality but is a UI issue. Additionally, there may be issues related to the currency or base units not being defined in the system.

Resolution:

  • Verify if the customer is running multiple ingestions in parallel. If so, advise them to run only one connection at a time to avoid throttling.
  • Check the refresh history to ensure the schedule has not triggered for a particular import flow.
  • Confirm that the currency or base units are defined in the system.
