What’s happening?
Customers are encountering an XMLA error when attempting to refresh datasets from the Process Mining page in Power Automate. The error message indicates that the refresh operation is not possible.
Reason:
This arises when the XMLA read/write access is turned off, which is necessary for "Use optimized data structure" feature to push data to Power BI.
Resolution:
- Ensure that the XMLA endpoint is enabled for read/write in the Power BI Premium capacity settings.
- Confirm that the workspace where the dataset is stored is assigned to the capacity that has the XMLA read/write setting enabled.
- If the error persists, consider switching off the "Use optimized data structure" feature, as it may not be stable for production use.
