What’s happening?
The foreign currency revaluation report is displaying incorrect exchange rates when executing the revaluation simulation and actual revaluation processes.

Reason:
This arises because the simulation process for foreign currency revaluation is referencing the exchange rate type from the general ledger instead of the specified exchange rate type for accounts receivable or payable.

Resolution:

  1. Confirm that the foreign currency revaluation simulation is set to use the correct exchange rate type specified in the accounts receivable or payable parameters, which should differ from the general ledger's exchange rate type.
  2. Ensure that the report generated during the foreign currency revaluation process reflects the correct exchange rate based on the specified parameters.
  3. Note that a fix for this issue is planned for Version 10.0.41, but the release may be delayed due to other priorities and security-related matters. Users should monitor updates regarding the release schedule.
