Customers are unable to open the new workers' form with a custom saved view, receiving an error message indicating that filters associated with the view cannot be applied due to security restrictions.
Reason:
This is related to the new workers' form, which is active when the Streamlined Employee Entry feature is enabled in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The problem arises when attempting to apply filters and save views, leading to security-related exceptions.
Resolution:
This is known, and a Quality report has been logged for it. Here you can find more details: Details for issue 802482 We are still evaluating to fix this issue.
In the meantime, the possible workarounds are:
- To turn off the Streamlined Employee Entry feature from Feature management workspace. After refreshing the page, the error message will not appear when loading the saved view.
- The implementation of a new worker list that does not contain any default filters, but does provide various saved views that can be modified as needed by customers.
