What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing an error when attempting to connect a newly required Azure resource to the Fundraising and Engagement application licensed from a vendor.
Reason:
This may arise if the Azure service has not been deployed prior to attempting the connection. Additionally, deployment failures can occur due to incorrect parameter values, naming conventions, or exceeding maximum path lengths during the deployment of Azure components.
Resolution:
- Confirm whether the Azure service has been deployed. If it has not been deployed yet, please deploy it first.
- Follow the instructions provided in the link to deploy the Azure service: Deploy or Upgrade Fundraising and Engagement Azure Services.
- Ensure that the values for Client Name and Environment are consistent with the previous installation to avoid creating duplicate Azure resources.
- Verify that the Client Name only uses alphanumeric characters and does not include characters such as dots or dashes.
- Check that resource names are unique and adhere to Azure naming conventions to prevent deployment failures.
