What’s happening?
When attempting to create new fixed compensation for certain employee roles, the list of available compensation plans is significantly shorter than the full list present in the system. Only a limited plan, such as the "Data Migration" plan, is visible, while other plans are not selectable.
Reason:
This is identified as a design behavior of the product.
This is identified as a design behavior of the product.
Resolution:
The compensation plans available for assignment are restricted based on the associated position and the entity-specific nature of the Compensation Manager.
It is important to note that the fixed compensation plans are visible under Fixed Compensation Plans in the system structure, but they do not appear when assigning them directly to employees.
Note that you cannot assign a fixed compensation plan to an employee until you define eligibility rules for the plan. More details: Develop a compensation structure - Human Resources | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
