What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with configuring reCAPTCHA on the local login and password reset pages of Power Pages.

Reason:

  • The reCAPTCHA feature is currently only available on the registration page by design. To implement reCAPTCHA on the login and password reset screens, customers must use a third-party captcha solution and custom JavaScript.

Resolution:
For Configuring reCAPTCHA on Login and Password Reset:

  1. Open the Power Pages portal.
  2. Navigate to the Website section and select the appropriate settings.
  3. Create a new setting with the following values:
    • Name: Authentication/Registration/CaptchaEnabled
    • Value: True
    • Description: Enables reCAPTCHA on the user registration page.
  4. Save and close the settings.
  5. For additional guidance, refer to the documentation on integrating Google reCAPTCHA in Power Pages.
