What’s happening?
Customers are unable to delete a mandatory column in a table or a table itself due to dependency errors.

Reason:
The inability to delete the column or table is caused by the column being marked as mandatory or by existing dependencies associated with the table.

Resolution:

  1. For deleting a mandatory column:
  2. Confirm if the column is marked as mandatory. If so, it may need to be altered to a non-mandatory state before deletion.
  3. If the column cannot be deleted directly, consider checking the table settings or configurations that may allow for the modification of the column's status.
  4. For deleting a table:
  5. Access the table from the legacy system.
  6. Open the dependencies of the table by selecting the option to show dependencies.
  7. Identify and remove any dependencies that are preventing the deletion of the table.
  8. After removing the dependencies, attempt to delete the table again, which should now be successful.
