What’s happening?
Dynamics 365 template apps are not visible in the environment even though the Customer Service app is installed.


Reason:
This may arise due to the environment not having the necessary Dynamics 365 applications installed or due to insufficient permissions for the user attempting to access the templates.


Resolution:

  • Ensure that the Customer Service app is properly installed in the environment. Verify the installation by checking the app list in the environment.
  • Confirm that the user has the required roles and permissions in Microsoft Power Platform:
  • A user account with Write Access Mode.
  • System administrator role.
  • Permissions to register an app in Azure AD.
  • If the environment is a development environment, note that it may not allow the creation of additional sites if one has already been created.
  • If this persists, check if the organization tenant has at least one Customer Service Enterprise license, as this is necessary for accessing certain templates.
  • If the portal is not available, reach out to the service administrators to enable Power Pages website creation in the tenant.
