What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with importing solutions, specifically where components such as agents are not imported properly, and errors occur during the evaluation of managed properties.

Reason:
The underlying cause of this is related to the evaluation of managed properties during the import process, particularly for components that are not customizable or deletable. Additionally, missing dependencies in the solution can lead to import failures.

Resolution:

  1. For Import Errors Related to Managed Properties:
  2. Ensure that the solution being imported includes all necessary components and dependencies. Missing dependencies can cause errors during the import process.
  3. If the error message indicates issues with specific components (e.g., "botcomponent"), verify that these components are correctly configured in the source environment before exporting the solution.
  4. For Agents Not Appearing After Import:
  5. Check the solution history to confirm that the import process completed successfully without errors.
  6. If agents are not appearing, consider re-importing the solution after making any necessary adjustments to the components or configurations.
  7. It may be beneficial to publish all customizations in the source environment before exporting the solution again.
  8. General Steps:
  9. Share screenshots of any error messages encountered during the import process to assist in troubleshooting.
  10. Schedule a screen-sharing session to discuss the issue in detail if necessary.
  11. Documentation Reference:
  12. For more detailed instructions on handling missing dependencies, refer to the documentation on concurrent solution operation failures in Power Apps.
If the issue persists after following these steps, further investigation may be required to identify specific configuration issues or additional dependencies that may be affecting the import process.
