What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing connection errors when attempting to create templates in the catalog that include Power Automate cloud flows. This arises when the flow execution fails, and the connection to the canvas app is reported as broken.

Reason:
The underlying cause of this is related to the limitations of supported components for creating templates in the catalog. Specifically, certain components, including cloud flows from Power Automate, may not be fully supported, leading to connection errors.

Resolution:

  • If a connection error occurs, set the settings according to the warning/error messages provided.
  • To resolve this, delete the flow once, re-add it, save, and publish the changes. This process may help restore the connection.
  • It is recommended to use distinct names for flows to avoid confusion when multiple flows with the same name are present in the environment. Consider naming flows based on their function or using a code in the flow name to differentiate them.
