What’s happening?
The "Enable Custom Help Panes" feature in the Power Platform admin center cannot be changed or toggled by users, including those with system admin privileges.


Reason:
This appears to be related to the transition between new and legacy setting pages in the Power Platform admin center. The custom help page feature has been moved to the new app's environment settings, but the setting status is not being properly retrieved, causing the field to remain greyed out.


Resolution:

  1. Access the feature through the old user interface (UI) to enable the "Custom Help Pages" setting.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Administration.
  3. Switch “Enable Custom Help Panes and Guided Tasks” to Yes.
  4. If the setting remains greyed out in the new UI, continue using the old UI until further updates are provided by the product team.
  5. Monitor for updates from the product team regarding a permanent fix for this.
