What’s happening?
A Power Automate process that was set up to send daily emails continues to run and send emails even after the process has been deleted. Users are unable to stop the ongoing emails and have no visibility into the process.


Reason:

  • The deletion of the Power Automate process may not have been fully processed or synchronized with the server.
  • There might be a hidden or duplicated process that was not identified and deleted.

 

Resolution:
  • Check if there are any additional flows or automations set up in the Power Automate environment that may be triggering the emails.
  • Review the 'My Flows' section to ensure the deleted flow is no longer listed.
  • Examine the 'Run History' of flows to identify any instances that may still be active or running.
  • Investigate if there are any connectors or integrations associated with the email functionality that could be active independently of the deleted flow.
