What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties in pairing new hardware stations or registers with existing configurations. Specifically, when attempting to pair a new device using the same name as a previous device, the pairing fails.
Reason:
The underlying cause for the pairing issues may be related to the device name conflict when replacing hardware stations.
Resolution:
For pairing issues when replacing a hardware station:
- Change the name of the new hardware station to a different name before attempting to pair it again. This has been found to resolve the pairing issue immediately.
