Whatโs happening?
Customers encounter errors when attempting to install the Field Service solution in their environment, including messages indicating that the environment is not valid for Field Service.
Reason:
The environment may not be configured correctly for the Field Service solution, particularly if it is a Common Data Service (CDS) instance, which is not supported for installing the Field Service solution.
Resolution:
- Confirm Field Service licenses are available in the tenant
- Ensure the environment has an attached Dataverse data store and the setting "Enable Dynamics 365 apps" is turned on for the environment.
