How to estimate the capacity to be purchased for anonymous users in Power Pages?
Reason:
Anonymous users per website/month are calculated as unique users who access one or more anonymous pages of the website within a calendar month. Uniqueness is determined through a unique anonymous user ID stored in a browser cookie. If the user accesses the site using different browsers or devices or clears browser cookies, a new anonymous user ID is generated, and the user is counted as a different user.
Resolution:
To estimate the monthly capacity for anonymous users, consider the following options:
- The Anonymous user monthly capacity subscription license can be purchased for the anticipated number of unique, anonymous users accessing a website in a month.
- The Anonymous user pay-as-you-go meter enables customers to pay based on the actual number of anonymous users who have accessed a website in a month.
Based on the number of unique anonymous users, select the appropriate anonymous user monthly capacity or pay-as-you-go option. For further details, administrators can download reports from the Power Platform admin center that show the number of authenticated sign-ins and anonymous user site accesses.
