What’s happening?
The notification icon for tasks on the Point of Sale (POS) system is not displayed.
 

Reason:
This may arise due to the notification interval settings in the POS functionality profile being set to a value that does not allow notifications to be displayed.
 

Resolution:
Go to the Retail setup in the POS system.

  1. Navigate to POS setup > POS profiles > Functionality profiles.
  2. In the Notification interval field, specify a value greater than 0. This determines how often notifications should be pulled.
  3. Ensure that the setup in POS permissions is correct and that notifications for Task management POS operations are enabled.
  4. Run jobs 1060 and 1090 as a full sync to refresh the system.
  5. After applying the changes, check if the notifications are now visible in the POS.
