Applies to Product – Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
What’s happening?
The customer is planning seasonal performance testing and requires the creation of a new T5 sandbox that accurately replicates the RIT-PROD production environment.
Reason:
The need for the T5 sandbox to match the production environment's configuration, specifically in terms of the number of application and batch AOS servers, to ensure effective performance testing.
Resolution:
- Deploy the T5 sandbox to the project using a first-come, first-served approach.
- Ensure the sandbox is configured with all necessary elements and services required for testing.
- Copy the RIT-PROD production environment's database to the T5 sandbox to include all data and configurations.
- Validate the configuration by running tests on the T5 sandbox to ensure it resembles the RIT-PROD production environment accurately.
- Make any necessary adjustments to the configuration based on validation results.
- Monitor and track the deployed sandboxes to ensure they are used exclusively for testing purposes and make adjustments as needed during the testing period.
