The customer is planning seasonal performance testing and requires the creation of a new T5 sandbox that accurately replicates the RIT-PROD production environment.

Reason:
The need for the T5 sandbox to match the production environment's configuration, specifically in terms of the number of application and batch AOS servers, to ensure effective performance testing.


Resolution:

  1. Deploy the T5 sandbox to the project using a first-come, first-served approach.
  2. Ensure the sandbox is configured with all necessary elements and services required for testing.
  3. Copy the RIT-PROD production environment's database to the T5 sandbox to include all data and configurations.
  4. Validate the configuration by running tests on the T5 sandbox to ensure it resembles the RIT-PROD production environment accurately.
  5. Make any necessary adjustments to the configuration based on validation results.
  6. Monitor and track the deployed sandboxes to ensure they are used exclusively for testing purposes and make adjustments as needed during the testing period.
